What are the closest travel lodges,hotels,inns,guest houses etc to manchester victoria train station?

some place very close to the station would help. i don't want to know about any place that may be too far. some place close enough for me to walk from the manchester victoria train station in manchester. please help!!!!What are the closest travel lodges,hotels,inns,guest houses etc to manchester victoria train station?
I can鈥檛 think of any really close to Victoria Station, but there are a few hotels about a 15 minute walk across town (Malmasion, Picadilly Jarvis, Gardens Hotel, Raddison Edwardian) but a lot of these are very expensive. The Gardens Hotel isn鈥檛 too bad.



You can get a tram from Victoria Station to St. Peter鈥檚 Square, which is near the Midland Hotel (also expensive) or you can get a tram to G-Mex which is right near a Travelodge. You could still walk from that Travelodge to Victoria but it鈥檚 about a 20-25 minute walk.
