Looking for a 5 star hotel in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada?

Im looking for a beautiful 5 star resort in Victoria, bc

Help is much appreciatedLooking for a 5 star hotel in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada?
Well, the number of stars does not always mean a good experience however I find that in general the higher the stars the better your stay in regards to the available facilities. That being said there are, according to a number of sites, no "5 Star" hotels in Victoria although there are a number that rate 4 stars. These include:

The Fairmont Empress - the grand old lady of Victoria located in the downtown region on the Inner Harbour. A short walk to the Legislative Buildings, the Royal BC Museum and IMAX, and a number of other attractions. I enjoyed my several stays here and if you enjoy high tea this is "the place".

Delta Ocean Pointe Resort and Spa - Located across the Inner Harbour, a short drive from downtown or complimentary shuttle. Not too far a walk from a variety of services.

Inn at Laurel Point - Located on the Inner harbour a few blocks from the Legislative Buildings and the various downtown activities and attractions. I found it a bit harder to find but a very enjoyable stay.

Hotel Grand Pacific - Located less than a block from the Legislative Buildings this is one quite a nice hotel and I found the rooms quite comfortable when I stayed there. Nice facilities and, like I said, very close to downtown.

Abigail's Hotel - Have not stayed here but it is located close to downtown and includes a spa.

Magnolia Hotel and Spa - Located in the downtown area and again includes, as the name suggests, a spa and is quite highly rated by many of the former guests.

Victoria Marriott Inner Harbour - Again located close to downtown and quite highly rated by former guests.

The Oswego Hotel - Again located in the downtown area close to the Inner Harbour again with what appears to be quite good reviews (only problem appears to be no air conditioning)

The Westin Bear Mountain Victoria Golf Resort and Spa - Located a fair drive from the downtown area but appears to be fairly nice although some of the comments indicated that service could be better. If you want to see Victoria itself not recommended,

If you plan on seeing Victoria while you are there and not just staying in your hotel I suggest one of the ones in the downtown region. It is a lot nicer to be able to walk out the door of your hotel and take a short stroll to many of the attractions than spend time driving and finding a place to park. From personal experience when I travel to Victoria I always try to stay as close to downtown as possible.Looking for a 5 star hotel in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada?
